Have You Thought About 2011?

It's the last weekend until Christmas! How great it will be to have a white Christmas here in Minnesota, if that's what you like!  After Christmas comes the the New Year and 2011!  WOW! for many of us in the country we are looking forward to putting 2010 in the dust!  It seems that's the case year after year, we make these grand resolutions and promise ourselves that it's a new start.  Some of us make a plan, some just whip it out there and say I'm doing it this time!  If you make a plan or not, what's really going to keep you accountable and what is going to keep you on track to make your 2011 a great one?  There is going to be some let downs and discouraging things that will happen along with some extremely awesome things.  Point is, a good way to start down a path for your new 2011 is think about it now.  There isn't much purpose in thinking about it January 2nd when the hang over has cleared up and your sitting in your office or at your kids hockey game.  Create your goals and objectives and figure out a way to achieve them.  It could be week to week, month to month or whatever works best for you.  While you're thinking of all this, the kicker is how to follow through with that plan. I say I'll do this, or I'm going to make this amount, pay this off, clean up my credit, ect.  GREAT!  DREAM BIG!  CREATE THE PLAN!  Now share it and say it out loud to someone and make it known.  You also need to figure out how to apply this plan to your daily life.  Some of these goals require change, lots and lots of change!  Life change, behavior change, even changing some friends and activities!  What are you really committed to that will make 2011 a year to build momentum for your future?  How will your life be different if these changes were made, followed and achieved.  If you're smiling and feeling great, remember that feeling when you think about 2011 and believe it to have already happened.  Start thinking and writing it down now, I don't care if it's on a napkin or a notebook.  When that single important thought comes into your brain and it brings a smile put it down and work backwards on how to achieve it.  I wish you all the success in 2011!  I'm always around, and ready to help you overcome your fears to make 2011 THE YEAR!
