Does Your Credit Make You Feel Like You're Snowed In and Trapped?

What a great weekend if you're a fan of the snow!  It's sometimes fun when you get stuck in your house for a couple days, especially the weekend and if you have the right company.  For most of us, we still had to find our way to a hockey rink or work.  That makes things tough, and what if something happens?  What do you do if you get in an accident, power goes out, I mean you could be killed!  or even worse!!!  This is how it can feel if your credit is damaged and beat up.  You feel stuck, like you can't do anything and that it's going to be that way for a long time to come.  Shoveling snow sucks, and not to many people enjoy it, but it is something that has to be done if you wanted to get out this weekend.  The same is to be said about your credit, if you don't start digging your way out you will never see the end of your driveway.  A lot can be done to prevent problems, like picking up the 500lbs beast also known as the phone.  Tackle things one at a time, you don't have to solve everything in one day.  Think of those creditors as the Abominalble Snowman and your armed to the teeth with shovels, snow blowers and snow plows!  If your cards are cut off and closed by the creditor,  you had file file for bankruptcy, foreclosure, or a repossession, you might be thinking I'm done, I won't be able to get anything for a long time.  Here is the deal, if you don't have anything going in the positive direction how will your score go up?  It won't!  Time doesn't always make it better especially with credit.  When you no longer have anything to pay on, i.e. credit cards, car loan, mortgage, there isn't any credit going in the positive.  You need to change that by re-establishing new credit and that can be done if you're willing to do so.  If you're nice, you might even get a creditor to help you out on your credit history especially if you've been a long time customer.  There are other ways to improve your credit score, and many great options to re-establish your credit.  The question becomes, are you content on being frozen and stuck in your house until the snow melts? or do you want to say I can do this, grab your shovel and dig your way out so you can get on the road again?  I'm your neighbor with the snow plow, and I'm willing to help get you out, just ask!
