Embracing the SUCK, can actually do you good!

Greetings my Red Phoenix Freaks!!!! I hope everyone is having a fantastical day and you have a smile on your face. Today we chat about embracing the suck!!! That's right, the SUCK! Everyday I have conversations with people about their situation, what they have been through and what they still are going through. By no means is this a competition, but trust me when I tell you I've walked in your flip flops!!

Facing foreclosure, having to do a short sale, maybe even filing bankruptcy are very difficult things people face. About 21 million bankruptcy's are filed each year in the United States, and more than 3 out of every 10 homes are in default. What does that mean? You're not alone! Lots of people put a smile on and act as though life is normal and nothing is wrong. What is happening beneath the surface is like a duck on water. Calm on top, but man those feet are moving 100 miles per hour and it is CONSTANT! Your brain is savaged by stress, anxiety and depression and it seems not only is the door shut, but it's dead bolted, chained and boarded up, then you go numb. These things I know for FACT! Having been through everything my clients have I understand and appreciate what it is you might be going through. What can be done? There is plenty of help out there my friends, I'm concerned about a lot of people that are so crippled by fear that they don't know what do to. Then they do the wrong thing and start talking about their issues to every single person they know and getting advice from every Tom, Dick and Harry until they here what they want, instead of what they need to. Happens to us all, this life we live happens to everyone at some point.

I want to simplify things for my friends out there that might be going through some things, or have already been hit upside the head a bit. The sooner you accept your situation the better! This will allow you to create a plan of action so you can start moving forward and move on with your life. Believe it or not, your situation that you have in front of you is not unique and you are not alone. If you're in the SUCK and are talking to everyone looking for advice maybe change your questions a bit. Instead of asking your family and friends what you should do, ask them WHO you should be talking to. Who's a good Real Estate Agent? Do you know a Credit Expert? (ME, shameful plug) who's a good Bankruptcy or Real Estate Attorney? These people aren't going to charge you to have a conversation with them and it is the beginning steps to moving forward. I am a resource for everyone, I KNOW THE BEST PEOPLE OUT THERE!

My friends, I'll leave you with a couple of thoughts. You are a good person, you think you're "trying" to do the right thing by holding on and being strong for your family. However, you've lost control of your own personal economy and the stress and worry have clouded your thoughts. To gain clarity and control the best thing you can do is get back to making sound, educated decisions. You can't do that until you talk to the right people. A lot of Millionaires file bankruptcy 2-3 times in their life, its okay to fail. What makes us significant is how we handle life's adversity and smile in its face as we overcome it! If you need me, I'm always around....
